Vodafone wanted to explore the options for managing costs in its main European markets through clean renewable energy. We helped devise a methodology that allowed a range of options to be considered in multiple countries.

We were asked to investigate the various means of achieving carbon reduction or even neutrality across its countries of operation.  This work was undertaken in parallel with the introduction of extensive energy efficiency measures.

We defined the regulatory frameworks, underlying economics, and commercial options available taking into account different carbon standards.
A total of nine countries were reviewed so that the client could get a clear understanding of the market conditions, and economic implications in each. This enabled the board to be fully informed when forming its strategy.
