The Hydrogen Boat Centre
The Hydrogen Boat Centre is a collaboration between PEP and University of Exeter. We are working together to deliver a centre of excellence focusing on hydrogen propulsion systems for the leisure and small commercial marine market.
Funded by an ERDF research grant, and based at the University of Exeter’s Renewable Energy Engineering Facility in Cornwall, The Hydrogen Boat Centre is where individual components or whole hydrogen propulsion systems can be tested and monitored in a purpose-built facility, providing boat designers, technology providers and vessel owners & operators with accelerated product development and independent validation.
